Mark Up Screenshots for Bug Reports and Docs

A clear screenshot saves a long explanation. Paste or drop an image, point at the problem with arrows and boxes, number the steps, add short labels and hide anything private. Then copy the result to your clipboard or download it as a PNG.

What you can do

  • Arrow, line, box, circle, freehand pen and highlighter.
  • Text labels and auto-numbered step markers (1, 2, 3…).
  • Pixelate or black-box passwords, emails and personal data.
  • Move, recolor or delete any annotation, with full undo and redo.

Good to know

  • Press Ctrl/⌘+V to paste a screenshot straight from your clipboard.
  • Use the black Redact box for secrets. Pixelating very small text can sometimes be reversed.
  • Shortcuts: Ctrl/⌘+Z undo, Shift+Ctrl/⌘+Z redo, Delete removes the selected annotation.
  • Your image never leaves your device.
