2 players ready.
How to play
  • Roll a 6 to bring a token out onto your start square.
  • Move clockwise around the board, then up your coloured lane into the centre.
  • A 6 gives another roll. Three sixes in a row lose the turn.
  • Land on a lone opponent to send it back to base and roll again.
  • Start squares and ★ squares are safe: nobody can be captured there.
  • You need the exact number to finish. Getting a token home gives a bonus roll.
  • The first player to bring all 4 tokens home wins. The others keep playing for 2nd and 3rd.

Play Ludo Online Free: 2 to 4 Players, With or Without Bots

This is a full Ludo board game that runs in your browser. Up to four people can play on one phone, tablet or computer by taking turns, and you can fill any empty colour with a computer player. There is nothing to install, no account and no internet needed once the page has loaded.

Ludo rules used here

  • Each player has four tokens that start in their base. Roll a 6 to bring one out.
  • Tokens travel clockwise around the shared track and then up their own coloured home lane to the centre.
  • Rolling a 6 gives you another turn. Three sixes in a row ends your turn.
  • Landing on a single opponent token sends it back to its base and gives you a bonus roll, unless it stands on a safe square.
  • Start squares and star squares are safe.
  • You need the exact number to reach home. A token that gets home earns a bonus roll.
  • The first player with all four tokens home wins, and the rest play on for the other places.

Features

Animated dice, hopping tokens, capture and finish effects, optional sound, keyboard play with the space bar, and a computer opponent that prefers captures, safe squares and getting tokens home. Choose Red, Green, Yellow and Blue seats, rename players and start a rematch in one tap.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play Ludo with 4 players on one device?

Yes. Turn on up to four colours, set each to a person, and pass the device around. Each player rolls the dice and taps their own token on their turn.

Can I play Ludo against the computer?

Yes. Set any colour to the robot option. Computer players roll and move on their own, and they prefer capturing, safe squares and getting tokens home.

Does this Ludo game need internet?

No. After the page loads the whole game runs in your browser, so you can keep playing offline. Nothing is sent to a server.

What happens when I roll three sixes?

The third six cancels the turn and play passes to the next player, which is the usual house rule.

Do I need an exact roll to get home?

Yes. A token can only finish when the dice shows exactly the number of steps it still needs; otherwise another token must move or the turn is skipped.
