Fix Preeti Text and Convert It to Nepali Unicode
Preeti is a legacy Nepali font. Text typed in it looks like English gibberish (for example “g]kfn”) unless the font is installed, and it cannot be searched, indexed or used reliably on the web. This converter turns Preeti text into standard Nepali Unicode (“नेपाल”) that works everywhere: websites, Google Docs, WhatsApp, databases and search engines. It correctly reorders the i-matra (ि) and the half-r (र्) that Preeti types in visual order.
Typical uses
- Converting old Word documents, notices and forms written in Preeti.
- Publishing Nepali content on the web or in apps that need Unicode.
- Making Nepali text searchable and copy-friendly.
Tips
- Paste the text exactly as it appears in the Preeti-formatted document.
- Unicode → Preeti output only looks right where the Preeti font is installed.
- Always proofread the result: very rare ligatures may differ between Preeti variants.
