Tihar (also Deepawali or Yamapanchak) is the five-day festival of lights. In 2083 BS most calendars place it from 7 to 11 November 2026. The government holiday notice lists 8 to 12 November, and the Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Samiti has not yet published the Laxmi Puja and Bhai Tika sait.

Bhai Tika (भाइटीका)

Why do the dates differ?
Tihar follows the lunar calendar, so calendars can place Laxmi Puja a day apart depending on when the amavasya begins. Check the committee's announcement closer to the day.
