Christmas Countdown: How Many Days Are Left?
This page counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until Christmas (क्रिसमस). The date is shown in both the English calendar and the Bikram Sambat (BS) calendar, and you can add it to your calendar or share it with friends and family.
About Christmas
Christmas Day, on 25 December, celebrates the birth of Jesus. It is a public holiday in Nepal, and churches in Kathmandu, Pokhara and other cities hold services. Many families and friends exchange gifts, share meals and decorate trees and homes with lights.
How the countdown works
The counter runs to midnight at the start of the festival day in Nepal (UTC+5:45), so it is correct wherever you are in the world. When the festival has passed, the page tells you when the next date is available.
