Tihar Sait in New Zealand 2026: Laxmi Puja and Bhai Tika Time
The Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Samiti has not yet published the Tihar 2083 sait (the Laxmi Puja and Bhai Tika times). For Dashain it gave a separate local time for each city, so the time cannot be found by converting the Nepal time to New Zealand time. This page will show the official Tihar sait for cities in New Zealand as soon as it is out. People also search for this as Tihar sahit in New Zealand, Bhai Tika time in New Zealand or Laxmi Puja time in New Zealand.
Expected Tihar 2026 dates
Kaag Tihar on 7 November, Kukur Tihar and Laxmi Puja on 8 November (Laxmi Puja in the evening), Gai Tihar on 9 November, Govardhan Puja and Mha Puja on 10 November, and Bhai Tika on 11 November 2026. Dates can differ by a day between calendars, and the sait abroad can fall on a different day than in Nepal, so wait for the official time for your city. Last checked on 22 October 2026.
What to do until then
Ask your family priest, or your local Nepali temple or society, which sait they follow in New Zealand. Add the expected dates to your calendar from the page, and come back for the official times.
